Late Night Self Love

*clears throat* Hey listen up little darlin’s. J.K. Rowling really nailed it when she said “Is ‘fat’ really the worst thing a human being can be? Is ‘fat’ worse than ‘vindictive’, ‘jealous’, ‘shallow’, ‘vain’, ‘boring’ or ‘cruel’? Not to me.” Go ahead and give her a round of applause!

Okie dokie I’m gonna keep this as brief as I can. I’ve got some thoughts on my mind tonight.

I despise the word “fat” or any variation of it. SO WHAT if your body does not fit society’s standards?! If society’s view of the body was a spider, I’d spray clorox on it and flush it down the toilet! YOU are a BEAUTIFUL, LIVING PRODUCT of the UNIVERSE!!!! So let’s play a game called “Love Your Chub” because it’s totally normal and healthy as a human being, it means you’re blessed enough to have food on the table, and it keeps you warm during those cruel winter months so you can snuggle up and be happy. Now thank your beautiful body for all it does to keep your body functioning the way it should. Good! Now rock what your mama gave ya! Smile!

Your personality is feeling a bit neglected. Take all of the time you spend saying negative things about your body and invest it into letting your personality and ~*inner beauty*~ shine and grow. “

“A person who has good thoughts cannot ever be ugly. You can have a wonky nose and a crooked mouth and a double chin and stick-out teeth, but if you have good thoughts they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely” ― Roald Dahl.

“Having a low opinion of yourself is not modesty. It’s self-destruction.” – Bobby Sommer

Remember, if your body tells you to eat, please do. If you want to lose weight, do it healthily! There’s nothing wrong with exercising either! Spend time around loving, nurturing, supportive people. I love you–yes you!!!!–so much! I’d turn the sky your favorite color if I could (unless it’s blue because then you’re lucky!!)

In my opinion, I don’t think we were put on this planet to obsess over our looks; life is waaay too short for that! So please be kind to yourself. It’s hard to be happy when someone’s mean to you all the time! I know it’s not easy, but nothing negative can come from trying. Just remember that part of being kind to yourself is taking care of yourself. Give your body the nutrients it needs. Stay hydrated. You are beautiful regardless of what you weigh, of course, but the side effects of obesity can harm you significantly. Just be careful. And eat that fudge brownie you’ve been craving. OK that’s all *runs off stage*
