i’m a changed woman

Do you ever have those moments where you want to make impulse decisions because change sounds so tempting?

Yeah. Me too. So yesterday I chopped 6 inches off from my hair and dyed it periwinkle blue. And I got my lip pierced.

I never had my “teenage rebellion” stage, so I guess here it is now…in my adulthood. My mom? She’s not very pleased….

Heh…………..

……….

.

Just kidding!

My hair is still brown and long and my lip, piercing free.

So, why is the title of this post “I’m a changed woman”? Well, because my body feels like a brand new body! I’ve shed my skin just like a snake. Ok….. not really but let’s just pretend.

For Christmas, all I asked for was a massage. I had years of stress and heavy backpacks and worry-stricken thoughts all piled on my body. My knots had knots and those knots got married and had knot children.

Yesterday, I had my first–and definitely not last–full body massage (they are addicting by the way). 90 minutes of therapeutic bliss. My soul is smiling. My body is thankful.

I highly suggest a massage if you have never had one before. If that’s not your thing or not in your price range at the moment, YOGA. I definitely want to do more yoga in 2015. I used to do it every day and the mental, physical, and emotional results are phenomenal.

I also got new frames! I really like these ones because they are super lights, so it doesn’t feel like I am wearing glasses at all. I think they’re pretty stylish too!

The best way to get used to something new is to photograph it!

Spring semester, I have new glasses and a stress-free body. I am ready to conquer you.

How are you feeling about school starting up again?
Have you ever gotten a massage?
What are you go-to stress relievers?
Do you do yoga?

Talk to meeeeee!!!
